One flown to OSU hospital after auto strikes tree on Charleston Pike Saturday morning





One person was flown by medical helicopter to OSU Hospital in Columbus with a severe leg injury after a auto struck a tree in eastern Ross County Saturday morning. Scanner traffic indicated the auto hit a tree in the 3800 block of Charleston Pike as the driver which was the sole occupant in the car was pinned on impact. Rescue crews from Springfield Harrison and Liberty Township responded and worked to free the individual with Med Flight 7 transporting to OSU. Names or cause of the accident have not yet been released.
